Omega Transcripts also provides transcripts that are invaluable to video biography services.  When producing a video biography for personal use or for a client, you may have hours and hours of video recordings that need to be viewed and edited.  Omega’s video biography transcription services can assist you in this time-consuming and often complicated process by providing time-coded transcripts.  The “meat” of your interviews can then be quickly identified to help you produce a compelling video biography that truly captures the essence of your subject without you having to view hours of video footage over and over again.

Omega’s rates begin at $1.75/min for time-coded oral history or video biography transcripts.  Time codes are inserted at 60-second intervals.  *Please specify on your order form if you will need verbatim services (ums, uhs, stutters, and false starts included) or semi-verbatim (ums, uhs, stutters, and false starts excluded).  If you know you will have several hours of audio or video, please do not wait and submit them all at once.  Submit them for transcription services as you complete them. This will cut down on turnaround time.
